After the realization of the two new DataCenter of approx. 1'200m2 on the ground floor and first floor, the cooling supply of the building was modernised from 2015 - 2016. In cooperation with our HVAC partner PZM, the cooling center and the distribution were upgraded to TIER 2 level. A special challenge in this project while the building was in operation were the numerous satellite antennas on the roof, which made it difficult to bring in the new recooling plant. Later, another DataCenter was built on the 2nd floor. An ongoing project since 2019 consists of the expansion of the electrical power supply.
MBA manages these projects and is responsible for advising the client in the coordination of further construction projects at the Olten site.
